Prayer
Dear Lord, we thank You for giving us Your mother as Our Lady of the Rosary. Help us to turn to her as our mother in all of our needs.
Our Lady of the Rosary, you care for each of us with tender motherly love. You wish us to truly turn to you so that you may care for us as a mother.
Please bring all of our needs before the throne of your Divine Son, and we particularly ask today that you pray that we and all people may grow in true devotion to you.
Pray for us, that we may make use of every help for salvation that God gives us. Pray that we may grow in holiness and virtue each day of our lives.
Amen
Take a quiet moment now to reflect on the word rosary and what it means to you.

Sunday Gospel Reading Luke 17:5-10
A reading from the Holy Gospel according to Luke
Glory to you O Lord
The apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith!” And the Lord said, “If you had faith like a grain of mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea’, and it would obey you.
“Will any one of you who has a servant ploughing or keeping sheep say to him when he has come in from the field, ‘Come at once and recline at table’? Will he not rather say to him, ‘Prepare supper for me, and dress properly, and serve me while I eat and drink, and afterwards you will eat and drink’? Does he thank the servant because he did what was commanded? So you also, when you have done all that you were commanded, say, ‘We are unworthy servants; we have only done what was our duty.’

Praise to you Lord Jesus Christ
Weekly Scripture Luke 1:26-38
A reading from the holy Gospel according to Luke
In the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David. And the virgin’s name was Mary. And he came to her and said, “Greetings, O favoured one, the Lord is with you!” But she was greatly troubled at the saying, and tried to discern what sort of greeting this might be. And the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favour with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. And the Lord God will give to him the throne of his father David, and he will reign over the house of Jacob for ever, and of his kingdom there will be no end.”
And Mary said to the angel, “How will this be, since I am a virgin?”
And the angel answered her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; therefore the child to be born will be called holy—the Son of God. And behold, your relative Elizabeth in her old age has also conceived a son, and this is the sixth month with her who was called barren. For nothing will be impossible with God.” And Mary said, “Behold, I am the servant of the Lord; let it be to me according to your word.” And the angel departed from her.

If your reading is from a Gospel, we invite you to say/ sing the Alleluia beforehand.
Let us take some time today to respond and reflect on our theme of Rosary.
Please pick one of the below sections to help you to respond to this week’s theme.
Try saying one decade of the rosary as a form during your prayer time
Find three people to lead the group…follow these steps …
Leader 1: Let’s begin by making the Sign of the Cross.
Today, we will offer this decade for our own intentions, for our families, and for anyone we know who is struggling.
Leader 2: I will lead the first half of the prayer, and I invite you all to respond with the second half.
Our Father, who art in heaven hallowed be thy name
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven
Everyone joins in to finish the prayer
Give us this day, our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses
As we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen
Leader 3: Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Everyone joins in to finish the prayer Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
(Repeat this ten times)
Everyone: Glory Be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
Finish with the Sign of the Cross
In the comments, let us know how it went…and if your form needs a set of rosary beads on your prayer table, your form rep can come down and collect one from the chapel.

Reflection

Pick one of the songs in the music tab to listen to as you reflect on these questions.
- When you pray the Rosary, what part feels easiest for you, and what part feels most difficult? Why?
- The Rosary is often described as “a prayer you can carry anywhere.” In what places or situations in your daily life could you imagine praying it?
- How do you think Mary feels when we turn to her in prayer through the Rosary?
In the comment section below… answer one of these questions as a form.

Here are some song suggestions that you could use this week
This week in school, our theme is Rosary
The Rosary is a prayer that we can all use to meditate on the life of Jesus Christ. It is a powerful tool for prayer and spiritual growth through the intercession of Mary our mother. The Rosary can help us to grow in our faith, to deepen our relationship with God, and to find peace and comfort in difficult times
