Sunday Gospel Reading John 3:16-18
A reading from the Holy Gospel according to John
Glory to you O Lord
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
The Gospel of the Lord
Praise to you Lord Jesus Christ
Prayer Theme Scripture Matthew 28: 16-20
A reading from the Holy Gospel according to Matthew
Glory to you, O Lord
Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed them. And when they saw him they worshipped him, but some doubted. And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Let us take some time today to respond and reflect on our theme of Trinity
Please pick one of the below sections to help you to respond to this week’s theme. Let us know how your form gets on in the comments below.
How would you describe the Trinity?

Speak to the person next to you, how would you describe the Trinity to someone who had never heard of it before?
Watch this video – How can God be a Trinity?
During this week, we have reflected on the mystery and importance of the Trinity—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The Trinity reminds us that God is a relationship of perfect love, unity, and community. Through the Trinity, we learn how to live together in harmony, support one another, and share God’s love in our daily lives.
C – Community
The Trinity shows us the power of living in community. Just as the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are united as one, we are called to care for and support one another, building a loving and welcoming school community.
A – Achieve
With God beside us, we are encouraged to achieve our full potential. The Trinity reminds us that we are never alone—God guides, strengthens, and inspires us to use our gifts and talents for good.
R – Respect
The loving relationship within the Trinity teaches us to respect one another. We are called to listen, show kindness, and value every person as a child of God, treating others with dignity and compassion.
E – Encounter
Every day we encounter God through the people we meet, the kindness we share, and the moments of prayer and reflection in our lives. The Trinity reminds us that God is always present with us—in our hearts, our friendships, and our actions.
As we start this final half term, may we follow the example of Jesus by living in faith, love, and unity. Let us strive to reflect the love of the Trinity in the way we care for one another and in all that we do.
Here are some song suggestions that you could use this week
This week in school, our theme is the Trinity.
The Trinity—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—shows us the perfect example of love, unity, and relationship. God is three Persons in one, living together in complete harmony and love. This week we are called to think about how the Trinity teaches us to care for one another, work together, and share God’s love with the world through the way we live.
Conversation Starters
Use these questions to start a chat together:
What does the Trinity teach us about relationships and community?
How can we show love, teamwork, and understanding within our family, friendships, and school?
How do we experience God in our daily lives?
Can you think of moments when you have felt guided, comforted, or encouraged by God through other people or experiences?
Why is unity important in family and community life?
What can we do when disagreements happen so that we continue to show respect and kindness to one another?
Who is someone you admire because they show love, patience, and care for others in the way Jesus did?
Prayer
For our families, school, and parish communities; may the love of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit guide us to live in unity and peace.
Lord, in your mercy…hear our prayer
For all people who feel lonely or disconnected; may they experience God’s love through the kindness and support of others.
Lord, in your mercy…hear our prayer
We pray for the Church throughout the world, that through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, it may continue to share the message of God’s love and bring people together in faith and hope.
Lord, in your mercy…hear our prayer
Mission
Together, choose something to do:
As a family, spend time doing something together that encourages teamwork — cooking a meal, playing a game, or helping with chores. Reflect on how working together strengthens relationships and builds unity.
Set aside a few moments each day this week to pray together. You could make the Sign of the Cross slowly and thoughtfully, remembering the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and thanking God for always being with you.
Challenge your family to show acts of unity and kindness throughout the week — helping without being asked, encouraging one another, forgiving quickly, and making sure everyone feels included and valued. At the end of the week, talk about how these actions helped bring peace and happiness to your home.
